Abstract

AbstractDue to the random failure of components or the disturbance from the external environment, the failure of components and relationships between components in complex mechanical system will have a serious effect on the reliability of the system. Combining with the complex network theory, the reliability of the complex mechanical system is studied by a case study. First, the relationship between components of mechanical system mainly includes mechanical connection, electrical connection and information connection, which are abstracted as the edges of topological network. we build the mechanical system with components as nodes and relationships between components as edges. Second, the indexes of measuring the node characteristics and the network characteristics in complex networks are constructed. Finally, taking the bogie system for a high-speed train as an example, this paper studies the reliability of the real-world mechanical system and analyze the influence under different attack strategies that adopting the characteristics of nodes.KeywordsMechanical systemsReliabilityComplex networkAttack strategiesRelationships
