Relevance of democracy in Indian electoral politics

Abstract

Democracy is the best form of government because its source is from the public. In a democracy, the relationship between the government and the public should be enabling. The sovereignty of the government depends on the consent of the people, making India a sovereign, socialist, secular. democratized and stuck to their word by giving all citizens the right to vote without distinction after adopting what the national leadership had promised in the early 1930s for universal adult suffrage. Caste, illiteracy, communalism, poverty, unemployment are the main points in Indian politics which are creating challenges in democracy. Free, fair and transparent elections are the key to establishing a good democracy. Democracy that liberty, equality, and fraternity are the value principles of social life.

 लोकतंत्र सरकार का सबसे बेहतर रूप है क्योंकि इसका स्त्रोत जनता से है । लोकतंत्र में सरकार एवं जनता के बीच संबंध समर्थकारी होने चाहिए। सरकार की संप्रभूता लोगो की सहमति पर निर्भर करती है, भारत को एक सम्पूर्ण प्रभुत्व संपन्न, समाजवादी, धर्मनिरपेक्ष. लोकतांत्रिक बनाया गया तथा अपनाने के बाद सभी नागरिको को बिना अंतर किए मत देने का अधिकार देकर अपने बातो पर अडिग रहे, जो 1930 के राष्ट्रीय नेतृत्व के प्रारंभ में सार्वभौकिक व्यस्क मताधिकार के लिए वादा किया था। भारतीय राजनीति में जाति, निरक्षरता, साम्प्रदायिकता, गरीबी, बेरोजगारी प्रमुख बिन्दू है जो लोकतंत्र में चुनौतिया उत्पन्न कर रही है। स्वतंत्र, निष्पक्ष और पारदर्शी चुनाव एक अच्छे लोकतंत्र की स्थापना की कुंजी है। लोकतंत्र कि स्वतंत्रता, समानता, और बंधुता समाजिक जीवन के मूल्य सिद्धांत होते है।
