Abstract

Apanteles melanoscelus Ratzburg, A. porthetriae Muesebeck, and A. liparidis Bouche were released separately into building populations of the gypsy moth, Lymantria dispar (L.). Larval collections, egg mass surveys, and defoliation estimates indicated that the liberations had no immediate effect on host parasitism, host reduction or foliage protection.
