Abstract
Using a kinetic oxygen plasma model the temporal change of the partial particle concentrations caused by a step-like variation of the electron energy is calculated. In the case of a decaying plasma at ≈1 Torr the results are compared with experimental data. The reaction kinetics are discussed.
