Abstract
Dislocation networks may relax the coherency stresses at the γ-γ interface of lamellar γ-TiAl. Generally, however, the information on these networks is incomplete. In this paper, we show, with a specific example, that a systematic theoretical analysis is necessary to remove at least part of the uncertainty and give all the possible solutions. The conclusions of this analysis are compared with available published results.
