Abstract
A relativistic oscillator whose period is independent of its energy is of great fundamental importance in both relativistic classical mechanics and relativistic quantum mechanics. In this work theoretical and computational investigations of such a constant period oscillator are reported, with emphasis on basic mathematical and physical properties of the oscillator. \textcopyright{} 1996 The American Physical Society.
