Abstract
Relativistic and Breit corrections tog-factors in ground states of alkali atoms, obtained by using a four component non-perturbative formalism and single determinantal wavefunctions constructed from central field Dirac-Fock four-component orbitals, are reported. The results enable a clear assessment on the magnitude of relativistic effects on alkali-atomg-factors. Deviations of our results from experiment further provide estimates on the effect of electron correlation on alkali atomg-factors.
