Abstract
Concepts of relativistic astrometry — such as Weyl's stellar compass or the concept of ‘flat-space plus forces’ — are discussed. To visualize effects from light deflection pictures showing the stellar sky as seen from the vicinity of a strongly gravitating source are presented.
