Abstract
When applied topically, Bay 77488 ( O, O -diethyl Phosphorothioate O -ester with phenylglyoxylonitrile oxime) and Dursban® ( O, O -diethyl O -3,5,6-trichloro-2-pyridyl phosphorothioate) were more effective than malathion as direct-contact toxicants against adults of confused flour beetle, Tribolium confusum Jacquelin duVal; and cigarette beetle, Lasioderma serricorne (F.); and larvae of Indian-meal moth, Plodia interpunctella (Hubner); and black carpet beetle, Attagenus megatoma (F.) (= A. piceus (Olivier)).
