Abstract

The aim of this study was to find out the relative study on team cohesion between crickets players were participated in the 2018 Buck Cricket Tournament was conducted by YMCA College of physical education, Chennai. The study was administered on 10 batsmen, 10 fast bowlers, 10 spin bowlers and 10 wicketkeepers in the age group of 18 to 25 and completed the Group environment questionnaire (Carron, A.V et., al. 1985). The obtained F ratio value on the scores of ATGS 0.36 was lesser than the required table value of 2.87, which proved that there was no significant difference on ATGS between cricket players. The obtained F ratio value on the scores of ATGT 0.22 was lesser than the required table value of 2.87, which proved that there was no significant difference on ATGT between cricket players. The obtained F ratio value on the scores of GIS 3.74 was greater than the required table value of 2.87, which proved that there was a significant difference on GIS between cricket players.
