Abstract

Objective To analyze the risk factors of liver cirrhosis complicated with liver palms and spider nevus and to summarize treatment measures. Methods Totally 160 patients with liver cirrhosis admitted in the Department of Gastroenterology of Xuanhan County People's Hospital from August 2016 to February 2019 were selected by convenient sampling and divided into observation (n=70) and control (n=90) group based on the presence of liver palms and spider nevus. Patients' demographic and disease information was collected and used to analyze the relative factors of liver palms and spider nevus. Results There were statistically significant differences in sex and etiology between the two groups (P 0.05) . There were statistically significant differences in the estradiol level, morbidity of stomachache, fever, upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage and esophageal variceal bleeding between the two groups (P<0.05) . Conclusions The risk factors of liver cirrhosis complicated with liver palms and spider nevus are diverse, and the medical staff shall provide diagnosis and treatment based on an overall analysis of the illness and the patient's condition.
