Abstract

Abstract Viscosities of pure water and aqueous NaCl solutions were measured under magnetic field with special cares for the temperature fluctuation and magnetic force acting on the sample. The relative change in viscosity of water at the magnetic field of 10 T was found to be smaller than 10−4. The result is discussed in comparison with the values reported in earlier papers.
