Abstract

Providing high levels of quality care is essential when dealing with older people in care homes. Having to rely on strangers for support can be a difficult for older people, however, care staff can ease the anxiety surrounding this transition by forming and developing effective and appropriate relationships with those that they aim to provide care for.
