Abstract

Objective To investigate the relationship between the postpartum hemorrhage circumstance and puerperal ways.Methods The clinical data of 2667 gravidas and parturients delivered in Jingjiang people's hospital from July 2008 to July 2011 were retrospectively analyzed and overviewed.Resuits There were 1156 cases of spontaneous delivery and 47 cases with postpartum hemorrhage (incidence was 4.06%) ; l407 cases received uterine-incision delivery and there were 86 cases with postpartum hemorrhage (incidence was 6.11%),104 cases received vaginal delivery and 8 cases with postpartum hemorrhage (incidence was 7.69%).There was significant difference for postpartum hemorrhage between spontaneous delivery and uterine-incision delivery (x2 =16.20,P =0.00),but there was no significant difference between vaginal delivery and spontaneous delivery or uterine-incision delivery (P > 0.05).Conclusions The incidence of postpartum hemorrhage in uterine-incision delivery is superior to that in spontaneous delivery.It is required to handle operative indicators strictly in uterine-incision delivery; meanwhile,it is suggested to conduct spontaneous delivery and antenatal examination in duration of pregnancy.
