There are 1,552 residents who use dug wells as a means of clean water, there are 137 dug wells that have a high risk of contamination and the Escherichia Coli (E.coli) bacteria content of 2 MPN/100 ml was found. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a relationship between the physical condition of dug wells and the presence of Escherichia coli bacteria in Karangmuncang Village, Cigadamekar District, Kuningan Regency in 2022. This type of inferential research with cross sectional design, a sample of 68 dug wells. This research was conducted using a checklist sheet and the MPN laboratory test.
