Abstract
This study was explored to find out the relationship between social intelligence and teaching competency of high school teachers in Coimbatore district. A sample of 200 Secondary school teachers from various schools in Coimbatore district was selected through convenient sampling technique. A self-made tool prepared by the investigator was used to collect the data. Data was analyzed by using t-test. Results found that there is no significant difference between male and female high school teachers in their social intelligence, teaching competency. Finding also showed that there is no significant difference between male and female high school teachers in their social intelligence and teaching competency.
