Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship in school achievement and self-directed learning in middle school students. For this purpose the subjects of this study were 212 students. The collected data were analyzed by using the 20.0 SPSS program. The data were also tested by using the descriptive statistics and correlation. The results of the study were as follows; First, students have scores which are above average scores of school achievement and self-directed learning. Secondly, there is also a significant correlation in the interaction between school achievement and self-directed learning and subfactors. Finally, limitation of this study and the direction for future research were discussed.
