Abstract
Content of emodin, enzyme activity of SOD, enzyme activity of CAT and content of ROS were investigated simultaneously in fermentation process of Aspergillus ochraceus LP_318 and LP_276 in order to reveal relationship between Reactive Oxygen Species and emodin production for speculating the mechanism of high-yield emodin from Aspergillus ochraceus LP_318. The result showed that emodin was identified as an antioxidation in vivo and an explosion of ROS which was found from 36 to 84 h in LP_318 stimulated to produce emodin efficiently with deficiency in enzyme activity of SOD in LP_318.
