The development of a software application involves several phases ranging from the specification to coding and including all of the test phases. In the specification, architecture and design phases, the use of a model is a way to capture the need for and choice of implementation. Finally, it is possible to implement models to perform the verification but also to select test cases. In the specification phase, modeling is part of requirement elicitation
