Abstract

Preeclampsia(PE) is defined as a clinical manifestation which is characterized by new onset hypertension and proteinuria after 20 gestational weeks. PE is an important factor of maternal morbidity and mortality as well as perinatal morbidity and mortality. The placenta is the prerequisite for the development of PE; and hereby, the delivery is the best final treatment of PE. So the proper timing of the delivery is crucial. A lot of researches aimed at seeking better biomarkers of PE, which can be used to guide the diagnosis and treatment of PE. At present, a lot of researches suggest that systemic transitional inflammation is main cause of PE. This article reviewes related indexes associated with systemic inflammatory response in PE.
