Abstract

The present study was conducted to identify the relationship between the facets of organizational culture and in-role job performance among the private sector bank employees of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. The sample was taken from different private banks of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, thus including 133 male and 66 female employees in the study. The age of respondents ranges from 20 to 60 years. In order to measure organizational culture Organizational Culture Index (OCI) was employed. It was developed by Wallach in 1983. In-Role Job Performance was measured by using the scale developed by William and Anderson, 1991. The study results showed that bureaucratic organizational culture has significant positive relation with the in-role job performance of the employees. Whereas the findings of innovative culture shows positive relation with the in-role job performance. Results showed no significant relation of supportive culture with the in-role job performance in the sample.
