Abstract

The pathogenesis of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is not clarified yet,but many studies show that insulin resistance has a close correlation with it.Foxo1 and Foxa2 which regulate glucose and lipid metabolism in the liver, change their own activity following the aggravation of insulin resistante. This change induces the disorder of glucose and lipid metabolism in the liver, and at last contribute to the development and progression of NAFLD.In addition, adiponectin has a protective role, while leptin, tumor necrosis factor-alpha cause impairment. And they all have important roles in the pathogenesis of NAFLD.
