Abstract

Academic achievement refers to performance outcomes in intellectual domains taught at school, college, and university. As an indicator of intellectual education, academic achievement is the most important prerequisite for individual, in research and social prosperity. Higher education institutions play a pivotal role in producing qualified human power that enables solving the real problems of a community through their research activities. Education is a powerful agent of change that improves the researches outcomes, health and livelihoods and contributes to social stability. At the micro-level, it is associated with better living standards for individuals through improved productivity; through higher ethical and moral values; given that those who have received a higher education tend to have more economic and social opportunities. At the macro level, education builds well-informed and skilled human capital, which has been considered an engine of economic growth, which positively contributes to educational research outcomes, ethical consideration and economic development. However, gaining knowledge, attitudes, values, and skills through education is not a simple task; rather it is a long and challenging trip in life. Students are expected to spend much of their time studying and need to graduate with good academic results. Through this research paper, it has been try to establish the relationship between academic achievement and ethical consideration in doctoral research. In this research paper it has been assumed that higher the academic achievement, higher the ethical consideration and higher level the outcomes of the research.
