Relationship among Child-Care Teacher’s Happiness, Self-Efficacy, and Teacher-Young Children Interaction

Abstract

본 연구는 보육교사의 행복감, 자기효능감과 교사-유아의 상호작용 간의 관계를 살펴보아 교사-유아 간의 긍정적인 상호작용을 할 수 있도록 보육교사의 행복감 및 자기효능감을 증진킬 수 있는 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 어린이집에 근무하고 있는 196명의 보육교사를 대상으로 행복감, 자기효능감과 교사-유아의 상호작용 간의 관계를 분석하였다. 자료분석은 Pearson 상관관계, 다중회귀분석, 내적합치도를 실시하여 보육교사의 행복감, 자기효능감과 교사-유아의 상호작용을 분석하고 교사-유아의 상호작용에 영향을 미치는 예측변인을 파악하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 보육교사의 행복감과 자기효능감, 교사-유아의 상호작용은 전체적으로 유의한 정적상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 보육교사의 행복감과 자기효능감은 교사-유아의 상호작용을 예측할 수 있는 신뢰할만한 요인이었으며 교사-유아의 상호작용에 영향을 미치는 요인은 행복감과 자기조절효능감이었다. 이와 같은 연구 결과를 바탕으로 보육교사의 행복감, 자기효능감, 교사-유아의 상호작용에 대한 함의를 논의하였다.This study examined the relations among child care teacher’s happiness, self-efficacy, and teacher-young children interaction and seeks a plan to increase happiness and self-efficacy of child-care teachers. For that, the relations among happiness of child-care teachers, self-efficacy, and teacher-young children interaction were analysed targeting 196 child care teachers who work in child care center. Data analysis was conducted by Duncan, Pearson’s spatial correlation, multiple regression, Internal consistency(Cronbach’s α). The results of analysis were summarized as follows; First, there were significant correlations among child care teacher’s happiness, self-efficacy, and teacher-young children interaction. Second, child care teacher’s̀ happiness and self-efficacy are reliable predictors of teacher-young children interaction. Based on the results, implication for dealing with child-care teacher’s happiness, self-efficacy and teacher-young children interaction were discussed.
