Abstract
In simple chromatographic systems relationships were found to exist between the molecular structure of solutes and their migration on the adsorbent. This is illustrated by the system: silica gel (adsorbent), ketones and acetates (solvents), neutral organophosphorus compounds (XYZ)PO (solutes). The relationships are of interest for practical and theoretical purposes.
