Abstract
The various modes of transformation and the variable parameters of manufacturing have considerable influence on the structure of semi-crystalline polymers. The mechanical behaviour of these materials is closely related to the relative importance of the various structural domains. Therefore, a change in the parameters of transformation is likely to have important consequences on polymer properties and on their long-term behaviour in use. In injection moulding in particular, the temperature of the mould has a very great influence.
