Abstract
Relations between Virasoro algebra and Krichever-Novikov (KN) algebra are investigated on a torus. Generators of the KN algebra are shown to be expressed by linear combinations of those of the Virasoro algebra. We also study the current algebra, which allows us to define the Krichever-Novikov-Kac-Moody (KNKM) algebra on the torus.
