Abstract
The dual resonance model of the strong interaction of the P 8 mesons and that of the semi-leptonic weak interaction of the P 8 mesons are studied. Relations among Regge trajectories are derived. The poles of the P 8 mesons are found not to be able to appear in the dual resonance amplitudes. It is suggested that the P 8 mesons, π, K and η, are not Regge poles but elementary particles.
