Abstract

Recently calculated second-order Drell-Yan corrections are related to deep-inelastic scattering results calculated in the minimal-subtraction scheme. This is necessary to combine these results in a consistent way. The agreement between the calculations is checked and the Drell-Yan corrections are adjusted to satisfy the momentum sum rule. Further we discuss the relation between the scale variables used in both processes.
