Abstract

This work seeks to analyze the importance of interpersonal relationshipsas an essential part of social life having a direct impact on the developmentof the human being, for which it is necessary to identify how interpersonalrelationships affect the interior of the Technological University ofChoco “Diego Luis Cordoba”, to contribute to the improvement of employeeperformance. For the development of the research, eight dimensions wereused, such as: interpersonal relationships, organizational culture, communication,availability of physical resources and knowledge, autonomy anddecision-making, motivation and support, carried out through a qualitativecross-sectional study with a quantitative support on a sample of 62 people,which showed that communication is the dimension that most correlateswith the other dimensions studied, allowing to conclude that it affects directly,because maintaining good interpersonal relationships favors andincreases the productive level in every institution.
