Abstract
There is a high rate of locoregional recurrence with definitive treatment for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Though reirradiation (reRT) can carry with it a significant risk of high-grade toxicity, this toxicity could potentially be attenuated utilizing conformal techniques. However, data on outcomes in reRT is sparse. We report an analysis of patients treated with intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) or proton beam therapy (PBT) for NSCLC in the reRT setting.
