Abstract
Abstract Although Stillingia loranthacea has commonly been considered a synonym of Stillingia saxatilis, it is reinstated to specific status in the present study. Stillingia loranthacea differs from S. saxatilis due to its orange-brown to dark brown bark, leaves sessile to subsessile (up to 4 mm long), obovate to elliptic-obovate with apex obtuse to rounded, base attenuate to decurrent, venation brochidodromous, and glands scutelliform. Both species are described and illustrated herein, including observations on habitat and conservation status, a map of distribution, a key, and a table containing distinctive characters. A lectotype is chosen for S. loranthacea.
