Abstract
Natural human α-interferon and Sindbis α-virus induce production of ²1-interferon mRNA in human fibroblasts. Accumulation and regulation of ²1-interferon mRNA splicing after induction with α-interferon and virus were different. Expression of the ²1-interferon gene was assessed by conjugated reverse transcription and polymerase chain reaction (semiquantitative variant).
