Abstract
p38 mitogen- activated protein kinases signaling pathway is an important way of Mitogen- ac-tivated protein kinases( MAPK) superfamily ,which can be activated by diverse extracellular stimuli and plays a central role in cell apoptosis process. p38MAPK is involved in apoptosis of malignant tumor by activating caspase family members, regulating activities of Bel-2 family members, activating p53,participating in Fas/FasL pathway and so on. This paper provides a brief review of p38MAPK,including structural characteristics, activity regulation and it' s role in apoptosis of malignant tumor. Key words: Neoplasms; Apoptosis; p38MAPK
