Abstract

Today, a common mistake of private business structures is that small and medium-sized businesses do not coordinate the development of their enterprises with the plans for the urban infrastructure development, and in particular do not pay any attention to the development of transport infrastructure. Transport and the transport sector affect the location and efficiency of production itself, the solution of socio-economic problems, the cost of production, as well as the formation of local and national markets. It is necessary to consider the existing structure for the effective use of the current state of transport infrastructure, which will allow assessing the changes of the current situation in the transport sector. It is also necessary to pay attention to the assessment of the business structures participation in the implementation of such projects as “Smart city”. It will provide an opportunity to examine the development of the “smart” and economically successful city where new management options for services and consumption goods, as well as the development of technology improving the information and communications field, will increase the effect of the development of the technical, economic and political processes. To achieve the most effective management of the urban infrastructure by the state, it is necessary to ensure high performance of all areas and services that are provided by the city, to take into account the needs of the population in the present time and to lay the foundation for the future development of the urban infrastructure in order not to have a negative impact on the economic, social and environmental components of the city in real time.
