We draw on a substantial body of theoretical and empirical research on regulating fake news content during COVID-19 pandemic, and to explore this, we inspected, used, and replicated survey data from Pew Research Center and Statista, performing analyses and making estimates regarding finding reliable news and information for updates on COVID-19 and role of social media companies according to Internet users Structural equation modeling was used to analyze the data and test the proposed conceptual model
