Abstract

AbstractWeighted least squares estimation is used for fitting nonlinear models to Ames test data. The models are biologically plausible, incorporating mutagenicity, toxicity, and/or saturation. Regressions are weighted to compensate for variance that changes with mean and to attain outlier resistance.
