Abstract
The article deals with the problematic aspects of the development of the General Scheme of Planning of the Territory of Ukraine, programs and projects for the restoration and further development of settlements, based on the historically developed specifics of the regions and the features of individual territories of Ukraine, which arose, as a result, of Russian military aggression. The typological features of different groups of settlements and the territory of the country are formulated, namely, settlements subject to complex reconstruction and located: A typology is proposed and typological features of different groups of settlements in the country are formulated, based on the differentiation of territories according to the scale of damage and the conditions for further restoration and balanced development. Namely, a) in the occupied territories; b) on the brink of combat and were totally destroyed during active hostilities; c) in the buffer zone of 50–100 km along the border with Russia; d) received significant flows of internal migration; e) were in relative "safety" and were subjected only to the destruction of local urban objects; e) in territories subjected to total mining and construction of a developed network of fortifications.
