Abstract

This article contains the main conclusions obtained by the authors of a comparative study of the Canadian experience of regional policy. A PESTEL analysis was carried out to identify common and special features in Canada's regional policy in relation to the northern territories. The final conclusions discussed in the article are of interest for understanding the urgent and future problematic issues of Kazakhstan in regional governance.
