Abstract

This paper adopts indicators such as GDP, openness, infrastructure and wage from Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai to conduct empirical analysis on location distribution disparity factors affecting foreign indirect investment (FDI). According to analysis results, the location selection for FDI is dependent on many factors. Based on empirical analysis on factors affecting the location selection of FDI, these three regions, with fast development along the coastline and a number of FDI, show different features and potentials in terms of attracting FDI. This paper will give suggestions respectively for Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai according to their achievements on attracting FDI.
