Abstract
The article presents an analysis of new forms of spatial organization of regions, the prerequisites for the formation of regional clusters in connection with the implementation of a megaproject for the development of oil and gas resources in Eastern Siberia and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) - a megaproject of ESOGC. The spatial organization of the productive forces of the megaproject of ESOGC is carried out according to the principle of cluster activation of the development of a full range of industries and the implementation of key projects of transport, energy, and innovative infrastructure. As a result of the megaproject implementation, regional clusters are created as a set of high-tech enterprises in closely related industries that play the role of growth points for regional economies. It is shown that cluster activation of the development of the base companies and related industries of the mega-project of ESOGC is a prerequisite for innovative modernization of the economy of the regions of Eastern Siberia and the Far East. The specific features and socio-economic effects of regional clusters of Eastern Siberia and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) are revealed.
