Abstract

This paper attempts to provide empirical evidence on the hypothesis of club-convergence in agriculture. Specifically, we address the question of whether, during the period 1995-2004 the NUTS-2 regions of EU-25 exhibited tendencies to converge in respect of their labour productivity in agriculture. It is established that the regions of European Union follow two different patterns in their convergence behavior.
