Abstract
The easternmost part of the India is considered as Northeast (NE) India. It consists of the ‘seven sister states’ (Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland and Tripura) along with Sikkim under the Indian province. The region shares its international boundary with China (in north), Myanmar (east), Bangladesh (south-west) and Bhutan (north-west).
