Abstract
Subject. This article examines the particularities of the process of the Russian population aging. Objectives. The article aims to assess the impact of different demographic factors on the aging of the Russian population. Methods. The study is based on the population theory provisions. Results. The article describes varying particularities of the population aging process throughout Russia. Conclusions. The particularities of the Russian regions' population aging should be adequately reflected in management decisions both at the country and regional levels.
