Abstract
Two models are constructed and compared with data for π +p, K +p, pp → Λ/ Σ 0 + X and pp → n + X. The first is a conventional triple-Regge pole model while the second has the effects of Regge cuts included. It is found that K A and K Z exchanges play crucial roles when Regge cuts are present. Predictions for the polarization and double correlation observables are presented and discussed. Particular attention is paid to the structure induced by the presence of the K A and K Z exchanges.
