Abstract
The number of recognized refugees in Brazil in 2017 was approximately 10.145, among which 29% are women. Victims of multiple forms of violence, including sexual violence, assaults, harassment, trafficking, exploitation, refugee women find themselves in a situation of extreme vulnerability. Possessing factors such as gender issues and the status of refugee in your "disfavor", the re-integration into your social environment becomes even more difficult. Therefore, it is essential the creation and proper implementation of public policies aiming the protection and assistance of those victims. This work intents, therefore, to discuss the issues surrounding the situation of refugee women in Brazil, on the mapping of the aid programs destined to them in the country.
