Abstract

Most often, it is said and written that glaucoma is a contraindication to refractive surgery. The main argument is that modifying the corneal shape or the corneal thickness will impact intraocular pressure (IOP) measurements. This is indeed a poor argument since IOP by far, does not resume glaucoma diagnosis and care. In this presentation I will try to defend refractive surgery in selected glaucoma patients with an open‐minded and reasonable approach.
