Abstract

This chapter looks to the future by focusing on reform of the Scottish floating charge. As well as considering previous reform attempts relating to floating charges and the Scottish Law Commission’s moveable transactions project, Professor Steven discusses the potential routes for the reform of security rights and reflects on how these may affect the Scottish floating charge.
