Abstract
To cultivate the practical ability and the innovative spirit of the civil engineering students,the reform practice of the research teaching model was carried out with the civil engineering materials course as an example.The civil engineering materials course had carried out the reform and practice of research teaching mode from the teaching content,teaching methods,experimental teaching,teaching practice,achievement assessment and so on.The teaching results show that the research teaching model could effectively stimulate students’ interest in learning,promote students' active learning and exploring,which were conducive to the improvement of students' comprehensive ability.
