Abstract

Using a large corpus material we describe the usage of two Danish words: the reflexive 3rd person pronoun sig (‘himself/herself/itself/oneself/themselves’) and the attentional adverb selv (‘self’) which may occur as postmodifier of the reflexive, but also — and most commonly — occurs in other contexts.
